SureStay Plus by Best Western Covington

Bad service. No hot water for shower. I stayed for 2 nights. It states breakfast but DONT keep your expectations on this. It is not edible. White bread, old cereal, coffee and muffin was served. Did not look appealing to eat. Best to walk down to near by restaurant for breakfast. After you inform the front desk on no hot water, the owner did not care. Ice machine does not work either. I can keep on going..... High price, low service!

Hard to get to the hotel. Do NOT go at dark! Rooms are clean, but check your hair dryer, and the mattress is lumpy. Breakfast at 7:20 am was weak. Tried to get on wifi and password wouldn't work. Whole hotel needs a lot of tlc! This place was here back in the 70s! One of the worse I've been in.

Positive: Nothing Negative: Bathtub caulk was moldy and they had some kind of mat in the bottom that looked grungy. I refused to bathe.

The stay was absolutely awful. From the time of arrival to leaving early because of how bad it was it was all around the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. Checking in the staff / lack there of was extremely rude and cold. The maintenance guy was clearly on something and was hitting our car while “leaf blowing”. In the actual hotel room it was extremely humid and the walls were wet. The AC unit was blowing dust and filled with mold. The shower and grout was mold infested. We had multiple towels and sheets stained with who knows what as well as blood on the curtains. When we requested new towels and sheets we were told there were none and they would get us some, we then watched a lady walk with towels and sheets to the outdoor washer that looked like it hadn’t been washed itself since th

It was a last minute stay and the best part of the stay was the young man at the desk (Shane?). He was so pleasant and friendly. The rooms have been updated a bit and there was no carpet, but they were not great. The mattresses were not comfortable and there was mold in the bathroom. Breakfast was pretty pitiful. The coffee might has we’ll have been water. There was cereal but no milk, and the yogurt, eggs and sausage tasted like they had gone bad. They’d be better off having a bowl of fruit and prepackaged pastries. The morning staff was not as friendly as the night crew. I didn’t expect great things for the price, but a clean room and good coffee are basics.
