Haven't been in close to 30 years but little has changed (in a good way). Staff is polite and grounds are thoroughly well kept. Night hours on the pool were great on the extremely hot summer days. Always have and always will love being able to walk up and down the creek. Only negative is that everything is priced individually. A rental covers 5 for the weekend but any guests is a daily charge, amount varies depending on what they want to do while visiting. Golf carts are also separate plus a change from the campground. Overall amazing experience. Wish their were more physical cabins vs RVs but also understand an RV is a one stop shop with all necessities included.

My family and I decided to stay the night unexpectedly just because of how much fun we truly had. We made so many great family memories! From the beach, pool ,slide , playground, Mini-golf and an arcade! This weekend they had an event going on for the families. They put over 200 gold coins out for the kids to find and if you got lucky, you get a golden dollar when you turn your gold in at the store. The girls got lucky and found two each! We even enjoyed all the amenities they offered. Their ice cream was a nice treat for us too! My husband & I just loved the community. Everyone was so polite and we can’t wait to book our next camping trip at Land-o-pines!! Thank you so much for the hospitality & making such a safe family oriented place for families to make unforgettable memories!

So many people complaining about this resort that obviously read all the info but didnt connect the dots. KID FRIENDLY means-wow- KIDS! And the teenagers are of course not going to be supervised. Who they heck hangs onto a 16 yr old all day? Complaints about the cost. Well, its a kid resort and actually cheap compared to others. Complaints about the mud- in south Louisiana at a campground in the woods. really? You didnt see this coming? The nasty condition of the RV's. These are very OLD RV's because it is cheaper to buy these than build cabins. You want nice rv's or cabins? OK. Cough up $500 a night to sleep 4-6. No? well you never heard the saying "you get what you pay for"? We stayed in a tent during spring break. had a lovely time. Loud music? Sure. YOU are allowed to do that too. Pe

We had an unexpected medical emergency in the immediate family and had to be rushed to the emergency room by ambulance the night before our arrival. Even with medical documentation from a doctor land-o-pines would not give us a CREDIT to return another time. Didn’t ask for a refund just a credit… No compassion for such a serious situation, with medical documentation. They do not deserve anyone’s business. Update since I can’t reply to the comment. We have medical documentation but weren't even provide the opportunity to present the documentation. When called the lady we spoke to “talked to the manager” and manager said it was too late… sorry we can not predict medical emergencies. We had a similar situation happen 3 years ago and sun in ponchatoula was very accommodating and provided a cr

I have not camped here, although it sure feels familiar, like I did. I do, however go in every once in a while. The access to the river is probably my favorite part of the camp ground. White sandy beach and crystal clear ice cold water. It's semi secluded, but I can get crowded one in a while, from what we have been told. The park offers season passes, with access to a water slide and putt putt golf, and they have a descent swimming pool. It's in a country setting in Covington on Million Dollar Rd. There is a lot of natural beaut. Several different types of trees and trails worth exploring. During the summer the have live bands and video games, as well as snacks and refreshments.
