Green Springs Motel

The hotel is fine, the pool is shut down and the Internet isn't reliable. But for the price it's fine, I guess. Everyone is very nice, cleanly, professional and friendly.

Ok so at first reading the only review on green springs I was a little skeptical. But I have to say it wasn't bad like we thought it would be. We got 2 rooms, both with 2 beds. They are little rooms, but it's perfect for a family thing. The bed were in separate rooms so the privacy was awesome. It's not perfect but it's not a crap hole either. Very friendly people, they were right there when u needed them. The pool wasn't ready (but it is still chilly out) our AC/HEATER worked just fine and it wasn't in the closet. The kids were comfortable and so were the in-laws. I can say one thing it served its purpose. And we were there for Mardi Gras, inexpensive motel and only an hour away from the parades. I was recommended by someone who used to stay in Green Springs about 20 years ago. Said the management was really great. I was disappointed. Definitely this one now is under a new management. Stayed there for a night last week. I noticed that the sheets were dirty, so I requested for new ones and even stated that I would change the sheets myself. The owners/managers were adamant that they themselves cleaned the room and changed everything. Needless to say my request was not granted. The towels were dirty. For anyone wanting literally a roof over their head, maybe this hotel is fine. But I would not recommend this place. There are other places about the same price but better.

I think it was awsome nice flat screen 1080I tvs air conditioner will run you outta the room so cold. Cozy room they had another room that closed off also with another bed only thing u had leave door halfway open to get air from other room. But it will get cold in there too. The owner is super friendly and they will do anything to help u. Great WiFi service very strong connection. Outside is a very big pool couldnt use it due to lovely COVID-19 impact but other then that i love this place.
