Southern Hotel

Family of 4, stayed here for a business trip. We own Get Moved, a white glove delivery company. Tried to find a hotel that was close to our pick up and drop off location. This was within 15-20 mins of our location, convenient that it had food and a great bar! The atmosphere is great, high class, and cozy. Will definitely be staying here again. Coones family.

We’ve made so many great memories at The Southern Hotel over the years. Our son’s wedding was held here, and it could not have been a more beautiful or special experience for our family. From the atmosphere to the service, everything was handled with such care and professionalism. My wife and I have also enjoyed several staycations here in downtown Covington — relaxing by the pool, enjoying the charm of the property, and taking in everything this historic hotel has to offer. Our business has even had the opportunity to paint different interior areas within the hotel, including portions of the ballroom — which makes it especially meaningful for us to see guests celebrating their own special moments in such a beautiful space. We had an enjoyable stay at the southern hotel. The staff is very accommodating, the rooms are clean and comfortable and include Mountain Valley bottled water… which is awesome upon arrival to to the hotel after a long day of travel. Shout out to Gail and Theresa at the front desk for excellent customer service during our stay. One of the highlights is Southern Hotel‘s partnership with the fitness facility that’s located next to the hotel. The facility is huge and in addition to offering fitness equipment and weights, they also offer yoga and other classes. The hotel is located in a walkable area. I walked to several coffee shops, a brewery down the street and cozy cafés to grab lunch. It also has a really nice bar next to the lobby. We’ll definitely be returning!

This has to be up there with the top hotels where we have stayed. Very clean and comfy, just like home and a lot of extras!

Danielle and her team were incredibly accommodating. Our group felt welcomed and taken care of at all stages of planning out event. We are so grateful for their hard work and hospitality.
