Comfort Inn & Suites Covington - Mandeville

Checked in to this hotel on valentines day weekend on 2/13/26 after leaving another choice property due to cleanliness and unsafe area. We go into the room and see a dead roach by the bed that we almost stepped on. I go around the other side of the bed and find a dead water bug. I took both to the front desk and showed the attendants. One of them offered to change my room, but shared that they never had a problem in the room we were in and could not guarantee that in another room. No compensation offered. We traveled almost 7 hours from Texas and just left that other choice property 45 mins away so we just dealt with the situation. The next day we decided to leave. Breakfast was good. The rooms did not have keys and the front desk had to open our doors every time we needed to get into our rooms. One of our rooms was opened at 2:30 in the morning by the staff and another customer who must have told them that was his/her room. My players were extremely uncomfortable.

BEWARE, they tried to sneak in an $8 charge after checkout for towels that were "damaged beyond repair." Mind you, they looked like they were never washed and certainly weren't with bleach as they claimed. They were barely dirty with the leftover makeup my makeup remover didn't get. When I called to inquire, they told me they were too damaged. Blew my mind. The lady was a smartass and said well you should have used the makeup wipes in the room and U told her there were none. Well, you should have brought some. That's what I do. I told her I had makeup remover, which I did actually use, which is why I was shocked by the charge. We love staying at this Comfort Suites. The staff are very kind and accommodating to our specific needs. They are always courteous and professional in their interactions with us. This is definitely a 5 star location! It is very convenient to restaurants, a Walmart and a movie theater.

Fantastic hotel customer/guest/CHOICE member services. Beautiful room, serene atmosphere. Quiet w lovely interior & exterior decor & flora. Lovely convenient safe location in Covington, LA.
