Pier Plaza Lodging

We stayed in room 12. The views were amazing. We stayed on a Tuesday night, and there was music in the park right across the street that we could listen to from our balcony. The door code did not work upon check in, but they were quick to resolve. The coffee pot had old grounds in it and was overall just gross. We were so disappointed because we were looking forward to having coffee on the balcony first thing in the morning. Otherwise, the room was fairly clean. A little dated, but would still stay again.

We were lucky enough to stumble across Bayfield, Wisconsin on a recent trip. The town is beautiful. Pier Plaza had a couple rooms left when we decided to try to stay in town. We chose to stay in the upper level corner unit that overlooks the water. The price was hard to swallow for us, due to us not planning to spend a lot of time in our room, as we wanted to experience and explore the town. The convenient location, and the incredible (truly lovely) view, made the price a tiny bit more palatable. The bed was ok as far as comfort, the pillows were very nice. The unit was nice and quiet even being so close to the water. The jacuzzi tub, unfortunately, was a bit of a disappointment. The lodge was literally steps to our activities. The room was clean, the beds were comfy and customer service beyond excellent. It’s a bit dated but homey. We look past those things if the room is clean and in good working order.my hubs was tickled they had ground coffee! ||The view off our first floor deck was stunning. We would stay here in a heartbeat. Give them a try.

Our stay was great in spite of the constant rain. The service was great and the workers were nice and ready to help. Our room was clean and had a great view of the bay and town. We were also within walking distance from everything we wanted to do.

We stayed at the pier plaza as well as ate one of our meals there. The fish fry was amazing! Restaurant service was great. It is in a prime location. The rooms are a little outdated but was clean and It was perfect for our long weekend get away.
