Super 8 by Wyndham Sumter

My family and I stayed overnight at Super 8! The check in was smooth and quick. Surprisingly the room was very very nice! Everything was clean. The bathroom was clean. And it smelled really good when we entered the room! Breakfast was good, not your usual luxury hotel breakfast, but still decent!! Waffles, toast, bagels, cereal, oatmeal. But it’s decent for a low price! We had a comfortable stay 🙂

Positive: The price was what I was looking for. Negative: Yes it's old and needs to be upgraded. Change the towels and sheets they are old and yellow

I went in the room and thought it was lovely. The bed was comfortable and they had a refrigerator/ microwave, ironing board, and hair dryer. They did not have breakfast because of covid (really, still?) and the swimming pool was closed. But I was there only for a night and that didn't really matter. I asked for a room away from the street, so though it was not noise free, it was not terribly loud. Lots of food places in the area. I will admit, I was annoyed that they had the lobby closed and I had to check in through the night window. I did not bother to turn in my key because of that. Overall, my visit was pleasant. Internet and tv worked fine.

This hotel is nasty all the bed spreads under the sheets are nasty and look like they haven’t been changed in years! The bathrooms and floors are not clean!! This hotel has bed bugs and my child got bit up really bad I have pictures and videos to prove it! I have videos of the bugs and of her bites all over her arm! I wouldn’t stay here if I were u and to be quite honest I’m upset because my daughter got bit really bad she said it feels like her arm is on fire!!! I paid for a whole week and currently waiting for a manager to arrive so I can get a refund and leave!!!

My family and I have stayed at this motel for years when visiting our family. I am so shocked at the condition of it now. It is deplorable!!!! I am adding pictures to prove it. I checked around 5 in the morning because we drove all night to attend a funeral of course my mind and heart was not in a good place. I paid for my room and when I entered it was disgusting. I will never again use this establishment under any circumstances 😒
