Super 8 by Wyndham Southaven

Room was clean. Sleep was comfortable. No problems. Overnight stay on cross country move Very clean, comfortable beds, the front staff owner/manager very cordial and happy person. He was very accommodating for my dog. The room was way better than i anticipated. Would i stay there again yes. Property was quiet too. Excellent value.

Upon arriving after our flights, myself, my wife, and our 8 month old infant went in to check in for our room around 11pm or 12 midnight (it was late). After paying the $50 fee that they require on top of already paying for a reservation, we received the key to room 122. Upon going into the room to unpack and get some rest, we did a walk around as we do with any other place we are staying at just to find a (roughly) 6 inch diameter hole in the ceiling above the shower head in the bathroom with black mold growing around it. After seeing this, we immediately repacked some of our belongings and left to make the woman at the front desk aware of the situation. We were met with remarks about how we will not receive a refund because of the “cleaning fees” and we were told that we had to make sure

This is probably the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at. Just overall filthy. First room was 214. I walked in and did a room check and A roach was crawling on the bed. They gave me another room which was 202. No roaches but lamp was missing light bulb, no smart tv, no hair dryer. Floor was dirty just like the hallway floors. Vending machines are cash only. I could go on and on. This place is a nasty roach motel. You can find better for $90 bucks I assure you.

The morning front desk attendant was unprofessional and unwelcoming. She did not greet us at all, and while we were having breakfast, she came over only to throw trash in the nearby garbage can, gave us a rude look, and did not say good morning. In addition, during the night we were disturbed by people in the next room making inappropriate noise. This was especially embarrassing and uncomfortable because our granddaughter was staying with us. Overall, this was disappointing and not the level of comfort or professionalism we expected from a hotel.
