Holiday Inn Southaven Central - Memphis by IHG

The hotel is clean and conveniently located from Memphis Airport. Check in was smooth. In the morning, when our room needed attention, Ms Ana at the front desk was prompt to help us resolve it. We are especially in appreciation of Ms Edna, who was a delightful hi-lite of our trip. After a canceled flight and a long night of travel and a room hic-cup, before breakfast even opened, Ms Edna noticed me, in kindness offered me hot coffee and a warm smile. She is a thoughtful, lovely person who genuinely cares for the hotel guests.

Positive: Friendly staff, very clean room and lobby. Perfect stay and perfect location. We haven't felt this good about a hotel stay at any brand in a very long time. Great job!! Negative: Elevators were a little slow.

The hotel was clean, the staff courteous, coffee was fresh and the restaurant was convenient and had a variety of meals available. Ms. Edna Kirby was prompt in greeting us for breakfast, efficient, friendly and kind. Mr. Allen was also friendly and efficient. They made the stay great.

From the moment I arrived, the staff was cheerful, welcoming and had a great sense of humor. Mr. Rick was great. The bartender, Emma was a pleasure, even when some patrons were not so pleasant. My morning was complete with early morning coffee ready when I was. Ms. Edna was so pleasant and attentive in the morning!! Let’s not forget the desk clerk (I am so sorry I don’t have her name.), who ran after the patron who had left his wallet behind on the lobby couch!!! I had my family reunion here this past weekend. The entire staff was excellent, especially the sales team. Both Pamela and Zykea were extremely helpful and exemplified outstanding customer service. They listened to and met all of the needs that I expressed and made my family reunion very memorable. The other hotel staff from the front desk, to housekeeping and other staff members showed us the same great service and hospitality. I would most definitely have future family reunions at this hotel.
