Super 8 by Wyndham Newport News

The front desk staff was calm, peaceful, and straight to the point!room was cleaned and smelled amazing upon arriving. The tv was very accessible to hook up my electronics. The WiFi was easy to connect too!!and it was overall PEACEFUL! No issue or abnormal loud sounds from||Neighboring renting a room. I would definitely recommend for solo or with another person

We were pleasantly surprised to see our room. Well lighted and clean. Compared to other Super 8s, so much nicer. Still a basic room but had been recently renovated in places. Dresser held a large flatscreen with the channels posted nearby. Bathroom had new toilet and lighted vanity. Down sides were no coffee maker or hair dryer. Although we were able to get one at the office. Office staff was very friendly and helpful.

It was a nice stay. The people at the counter were very welcoming and helpful. I forgot my camera bag & the lady called me back while I was across the street at the Waffle House.

Not worth $100. Our stay was lack luster upon checking. It took forever to get our keys despite checking in online before we arrived. The room was clean enough. The beds were comfortable. There was no breakfast as advertised. I expected breakfast for the amount of money we paid. At least donuts and coffee. I don't care if its just a Super8.

Booked because of their availability of smoking rooms. When we arrived and opened the door the air conditioning was turned off and the room reaked of wet dog smell. Went and got air freshener and get settled in only to discover no hot water and no coffee maker. Bed was lumpy and uncomfortable. It's rated as a 2 star hotel but I'm being completely honest when I say it fell far short of even a 2 star rating.
