Comfort Suites Newport News Airport

Nice spot. Rooms were a decent size. We had a king with a pullout sofa. Decent size pullout. Room wasn't cramped. Had a desk, tv, microwave and mini fridge. Good plugs and USB on the both bedsides. See pics. I liked the led strips lighting over the headboard. Olive garden right outside the Hotel with a Longhorn steakhouse across the street. No complaints Decent pool and workout area with up to 50lb barbells. .

Not sure if this hotel has changed ownership since my last visit, but it definitely has gone down hill. The positives were the location and price point which was a good value.||The hotel as a whole needs to be updated, with special emphasis on carpeting in the hallways and the roof. We did not experience a leak in our room, but we were not on the top floor.||My wife tried to use the treadmill in the exercise room and it was out of order for three days during our visit.||We also experienced a noisy HVAC unit close to our room. Our unit worked fine, but noisy unit belonged to another guest room.||The breakfast bar was also a disappointment. Quality of items served was poor. We only ate breakfast one day and that was it.||Overall this hotel does not come close to a 4.5 rating.||Hopefully own

This is nice if you are staying for a short Period. However, this suite room has the most uncomfortable beds I have ever encountered because they are rock hard solid. We did receive great service though from the housekeepers. I loved them. The location is not bad when you have a trip. The breakfast bar and pool are nice. I would recommend better padding for comfort. It was a good stay because of visiting family. However, not sure if we will return because the comfort level for sleeping was not the greatest.

I am so glad we booked our stay here! It was a great stay! Rooms clean, shower water pressure wasn't the greatest but it was good enough, kids enjoyed the pool and having breakfast every morning was a plus. Kids really enjoyed making their own waffles. Sharon who served up and kept up the breakfast area going in the morning was wonderful! All the staff was very friendly and helpful. We will definitely book here again next time we are in town!

While the room was nice it smelled heavily of marijuana which was not the first impression I would have liked. Luckily Bri was able to fix this problem and was very prompt in helping. This fitness center seemed to be lacking most of the weights and the rest of the equipment seemed to be in various states of disrepair. The continental breakfast was mostly burned with regards to the sausage and eggs. But the hotel is in a very convenient location to reach several other places to eat.
