Super 8 by Wyndham Milford/New Haven

The place are pretty good located. Looks like they were renovating the room recently but still have a lot of work to do like a big gape under the door and all the cold winde coming thru. The rooms looks like there are missing something, in a few rooms not mirror y others, not table/chair, others not microwave or fridge or the bathroom shower waster not going.

This hotel is in need of renovations extremely bad. Also they offer continental breakfast but did not have any Continental breakfast. They had some old bananas and some Texas buns that they got from the store. Coffee but the coffee tasted like hot brown water. Do not bring your family here. Also there was some girl laying half naked in the bed with the curtains open. Not a family environment.

Positive: The front desk was welcoming try to be accommodating particularly with concerns I raised. Negative: I had a nonworking phone with no live telephone line in my room. A guest above me was moved who was smoking weed in a non-smoking hotel.

Surprised by some of the other reviews; of course this is not a luxury hotel, if it were it wouldn't be so affordable. We appreciated that the management team is very accomodating of requests where they can be. They even mentioned weekly rates. It's good to be able to interact with "someone you can work with"--makes all the difference. Great location right of 95: you can walk to any sort of international cuisine and/or shopping.

I was frightened for my grandchildren! The place needs alot of attention. The room was not worth the stay for homeless individuals. Carpeting filthy, cigarette burns in sheets on both beds. Refrigerator wasn't working. Door didn't lock correctly. Bathroom was filthy and not properly cleaned. No bag in the garbage can. Office staff not too friendly. Thank goodness we were only there overnight. If I knew the condition of this place I wouldn't have even attempted to stay, but I was with grandchildren who had there hearts set on the Monster Jam event the next day.
