Residence Inn by Marriott Milford

Currently staying here for a couple weeks and I’ve only been here a few days, my first day when I got to my room of course you do what any regular person does and check the cleanliness of the room, of course sheets were not clean had stains all over the blanket that you can clearly see like someone spilled red juice, I didn’t make a big deal because she put me on the second floor and I had a headache from the long drive so I called and just asked for clean bedding told them I would make the bed myself about 10min later there’s a knock on the door I open it to find a big black garbage bag just sitting there I still didn’t make a big deal just took the bag in made the bed myself only to find they gave me no pillow cases so instead of calling I just went to look for someone to not only give t

I would never stay at this hotel again if it weren’t for Rebecca and Greg, the breakfast wasn’t bad either but the gentleman who ran the breakfast wasn’t so friendly. Rebecca went out of her way to make sure I was comfortable in my room and Greg was kind enough to make sure I had the right kind of pillows. The hotel needs an update for sure, there was a rip in the couch and the pull out bed wasn’t very comfortable but when you hire such decimated employees those things seem insignificant in comparison.

The hotel is decent. The front entry was clean. The elevator rug needs cleaning. My room was ok but the couch and the rug needed shampooing. The pull out couch mattress was disgusting that I couldn't let my 3yr old grandson sleep on it nor did I want him sitting on the couch. The beds was comfortable and I love the kitchen with the full stove, dishwasher and refrigerator. Nice size TVs in every room. Overall an 8 out of a 10.

We requested an extra blanket because we needed to set up the sofa bed and the blanket in the closet is very thin. To my surprise there is no blanket available in the entire hotel. I have stayed in many hotels over the years and this is really the first time a hotel couldn’t locate an extra blanket. The staff remained professional during the interaction, but clearly it’s not their issue. Everything else was also average, but that was expected. Oh the towel bar came off.

Have been to many Residence Inn but this one needs some upgrades. We stayed at a two bedrooms suite but Rooms and toilets are a bit old. Have smell whenever I get inside the room. The hotel seems busy so maybe Marriott didn’t pay attention to renovating it. Beddings seems used and unchanged upon arrival. Staff are friendly and breakfast is good.
