Motel 6 Milford, CT

My experience here was good. I went solo to ease my mind. The lady that check me in was friendly and I got check in without any issues. The room was clean. The cleaning staff was friendly as well. My only complaint is the elevator not stopping on the third floor and I had one dirty towel. Other than that, I had no major problems and had a comfortable stay.

We were very disappointed with our stay. The room was not well maintained — the laminate in the shower was peeling and coming apart, and the showerhead did not function properly. The beds were uncomfortable, and the sheets had an unpleasant odor and felt like very low-quality material. Additionally, the front desk staff behaved unprofessionally. We overheard inappropriate language being used, and the overall attitude felt unwelcoming and hostile. Cleanliness, comfort, and professionalism are basic expectations when staying at a hotel, and unfortunately this property did not meet those standards. We would not choose to stay here again.We were very disappointed with our stay.

Positive: To be honest, nothing. The heat didn't work in the disabled room. Neither did the hot water. Negative: The bed was a double and the bathroom was not handicap accessible. There was no chair in the shower and the tub was very high.

I visited the area in June. My friend found this place and it was a deal but…you get what you pay for. The room smelled clean but visually not so much. Questionable stuff on the walls in the bathroom. The furniture was in tough shape. When I turned down the bed I discovered very late the there wasn’t a top sheet. After trying to use the in house phone (which didn’t work) I went to the front desk only to be greeted with “everything is locked up” so I was missing half the bed linens. Finally to top it off a very large beetle shows up on the ceiling eeewwwww. Needless to say we won’t be back.

Absolutely no help from anyone my toilet was overflowing and they handled me a plunger. My phone never worked. The microwave was broken. Swimming pool is outdoors so no indoor swimming. No decaf coffee. Obviously no breakfast. Lady walked in when I was sleeping for house keeping but they don’t provide a sign for do not disturb. Asked if I checked out uhh no I paid for 3 weeks ….!!! They’re like a knock off LV
