Super 8 by Wyndham Metairie

Hotel staff was rude. Shower area was dirty and the room had roaches. The area where breakfast is served smells like mildew.

Positive: Excellent staff support by hotel employee Negative: Average Breakfast , they claim continental but limited options Room had bugs, drainage issue in tub and stains on walls.

I hope no one has this experience in Life!! I have traveled many many places and never had this. I used to be a Diamond member and now a Gold member. I booked through my points at this hotel for 1 night between 14th Feb to 15th Feb at around 8:30pm through the wyndham rewards portal and my confirmation number is 91704EE040547. I went to checkin at the hotel at around 10pm. while checking in the front desk agent said that he sees my reservation but don't see a room linked and he has to talk to his manager and get back. i wait for 10 mins at the lobby and i ask him for an update. He tells me that his manager has informed that I reservation is now cancelled !! I asked him who cancelled it and how? He says he doesn't know and i need to check with Wyndham and he can't help. I rarely leave a negativereview This room was surface clean. However infested with bed bugs. I have been ate up from my forehead to my toes. My back and stomach full of bites. My feet there is no area that has not been bitten. The price paid should have been a flag. I am not from the area so I was thinking Metairie LA, I stayed before but this was a different spot. Lesson learned for sure. When I arrived, The Holy Spirit said dont stay. The cost for not listening to the God that knows all. The desk person, Dip, was wonderfully helpful. He made check in a breeze and gave me everything they offered that I desired. I have booked for 4 days. The room was clean. The bathroom is spacious. And I look forward to swimming tomorrow. Thank you Dip....keep up the friendliest service in Metairie!
