Hampton Inn Metairie

The lobby of the hotel is very clean and stylish. We found the entire hotel to be very clean. The staff are very friendly and polite. The complimentary Breakfast isn't bad considering they don't actually have a kitchen to cook in. I enjoyed the waffles, sausage, and boxed omelettes. I had to take away because this property needs some maintenance love. The bath tubs need to be reglazed because they're peeling. It's unsightly and made the tub/shower look dirty. The door to our bathroom was warped from moisture. It appeared dirty, but was actually swollen with mold. The plumbing gurgled frequently throughout the night, so it made it difficult to get a restful night's sleep. The guest laundry was out of service for most of my stay. We were there 27 July to 1 Aug 2025. I enjoy the large comfortable room comfortable bed, and Refrigerator. Love the new Digital wash and dryer that used use phone. Love the breakfast every morning. Beautiful pool, did get chance to go see the gym. Love that it had a connecting garage also, no additional charge. And it was Service Dog friendly no charge. They have bag and can in two location of hotel. We enjoy ourselves, walk distance from Macy and Mall.

We used the Hilton Honors App to book our room. I did not immediately realize that the app somehow created two reservations until I got a notification from our credit card with two charges. We were an hour from the hotel and I mistakingly thought it could be addressed in person once we arrived. Boy was I wrong! The desk clerk that evening was kind enough but when I brought it to her attention regarding the glitch with the app, she said she was not authorized to take care of it and would print it off and lay it on the desk for the evening manager to address. The next morning we stopped on our way out for the day and spoke to a second desk clerk and she said she would see the manager addressed it when they came in later that day. When we returned late afternoon, we stopped at the desk and th
