New Orleans Marriott Metairie at Lakeway

Stayed for an overnight work trip. Super friendly and helpful staff was the highlight. Valet team were on their game. The bottom floor is very nicely laid out. The room was okay, really nice view of the New Orleans skyline. The bed...was like laying on a cushioned platform. Did not sleep well at all, made for a long next day. Bookended the stay with one more staff interaction at checkout and valet, different crews, same excellent service.

Rooms are equipped with refrigerator and microwave. We had a corner toom so its quite spacious. Marriott rewards members get free breakfast and upgrades. The breakfast room was nice. The breakfast is okay. More variety would be nice and it closes ar 9 am which is early. 10 am would be better. Hotel is clean and nicely renovated. The front desk staff are OK. Has one very nice front desk worker Shiao Yu. Overall was a good experience.

Positive: I liked the room view (water side), men's lounge with snacks and the Starbucks. Negative: I did not like that you have to pay for parking when you are staying at the hotel. 26.00 a day unlimited coming and going or 8.00 an hour cap at 20.00 to park In hotel. I did not like the limited times of the restaurant,and Starbucks. No pool!!

We had a wonderful stay at the Marriott! A special shout-out to Aviana and Will at the front desk — they were absolutely awesome! They greeted me with warm smiles every time, made the check-out process smooth and easy, and were incredibly helpful throughout my stay. Their professionalism and friendly attitude truly made the experience feel welcoming and personal. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, making it the perfect place to relax. This is one of the most unprofessional and unacceptable hotel experiences I have ever had. I booked this hotel from February 3 to February 7 through Booking.com and paid over $1,000 in advance for the full stay. Due to unavoidable circumstances, I could not check in on February 3 and arrived the very next day, fully expecting to check in since the reservation was already paid in full. At the front desk, I was told that my booking “did not exist” and that it had been marked as a no-show. When I asked about the remaining three nights that were already paid for, I was simply told to contact Booking.com. There was no effort to help, no explanation, and no attempt to resolve the situation. Booking.com confirmed that the hotel had already received the payment and that the stay should have bee
