Plaza Suite Metairie

We were pleasantly surprised that these rooms were like little apartments. The decor is a little dated but it was nice as were the people that work there. The elevator was down when we arrived but was fixed shortly after. The breakfast is just juice and packaged sweets. The pool is nice. WiFi worked well. The bed was new.

This is the first time we have traveled to NOLA and NOT stayed in the French Quarter. This trip, we wanted to visit the Zoo, WWII Museum, City Park (Botanical Gardens), Rum Distillery etc, so we chose Metarie for the more suburban location and free parking. Arturo and Dee were so helpful and friendly! While the resort and furnishings are not brand new or modern, the room was spacious and very clean. The WIFI was fast and we were able to connect to NETFLIX and Amazon Prime for movies. The entire resort has an old world (NOLA) charm! We were still able to park closer to the French Quarter and ride the trolley lines when we wanted to get into the French Quarter without paying too much for parking. It was a great visit and we would consider staying here again -- especially off season as

FABULOUS GEM in Metairie! My honey and I go to our share of hotels all over and when staying in Metairie this is by far the best feeling, clean, safe, comfortable, specious and quiet hotels we have found. We truly enjoyed our 4 night stay. The staff is absolutely the biggest bonus. They are so incredibly helpful and reliable. Our bathtub had a Jacuzzi which we incredibly enjoyed. The bed is comfortable and there are many movies and TV stations to choose from in both the bedroom and the living room. The room comes with a fully equipped kitchen including a dishwasher, full functioning stove and a full size refrigerator. The air conditioner works extremely well and the granite floors in the bathroom and kitchen felt fabulous on my feet. Room service even came in while we were gone and changed

Mrs. Dee is so awesome! The value was amazing and the room well beyond met our expectations! As the owner of a cleaning business myself, the cleanliness of the entire place blew me away! We have found our new place to stay in NOLA!

This location is easy to get to French Quarter even though it’s 6 miles away. They need to work on upgrading their living room and dining furniture. Bedroom was fine. They need to have better furniture for the handicap. Continental breakfast needs to be upgraded to include fresh fruit. Reception staff very friendly and helpful.
