Super 8 by Wyndham Dumfries/Quantico

Positive: Most of the staff are amazing! (Most) lol Negative: Of course there was we can always do better! I would say the two main things that I did not find delightful was a drug addicts in the room next to us and no heat and please don’t forget about the crack pipe we found in the chair that was disturbing

The Indian dude behind the counter was absolutely rude and told me that me sitting in the lobby would make the hotel look bad and told me to go drive around to waste time waiting for my room that I booked like 2 weeks in advance and already paid for and refused to give me my military discount. Overall, horrible hospitality.

From start to finish, this was a horrible stay. When I arrived, police were there. Sketchy people in the parking lot, stinky, not clean rooms, the whole motel smelled of marijuana and cigarettes. I was supposed to have a queen bed but they gave me 2 doubles. Room was gross. The toilet was not properly attached to the ground and the water spit out black from the shower. The room next to me was left open the entire stay and you could hear people screaming in that room all night. DO NOT STAY HERE IF YOU VALUE YOUR SAFETY. ALSO, I just went for a 3 week vacation and only in that room did my Wife get sick.

Not a bad place to stay. The front desk personnel were very nice. There are a few places around for getting some cheap eats. It did seem to get a little shady around 8:00-9:00PM, so watch your back after that time.

Originally in a 3rd floor room but cigarette smoke was overwhelming. I spoke to Muhammad Rashid in the office and he was able to get us a room on the 1st floor. Several times during our stay the electronic key would not work, but each time the office staff got us another key and things were great. |Mr. Rashid and his staff were very helpful and friendly. Obviously this is a low cost motel, but the rooms were very impressive and clean. I'm very happy with our stay and would recommend it to Travellers.
