It is a nice place to stay. Friendly staff.|The rooms are good clean and have good space. It has a lot of parking space too. Good place

The bathrooms had visible mold, and the rooms had an unpleasant odor. The bed sheets were stained, and the towels appeared discolored and smelled as if they had not been properly laundered. Additionally, there were insects present in the bathroom, and the toilet made persistent noises throughout the night. The staff were unprofessional and exhibited rude behavior.

If you are trying to find a good place to stay outside of the Marine base Quantico take it from me a USAF Veteran and Diamond level Choice Privileges member that the Econolodge in Dumfries is a great place to stay. Year to date I have stayed here over 90 days and have not encountered any problems so far. First and formost to mention is the properties close proximity to the major interstate of Route 95 making it easy and convienent if you are traveling up and down the East coast for work or vacation to hop on or off the interstate leaving you minutes from multiple destinations including all the monuments and tourist attractions of Washington DC. In walking distance from the front door of the Lodge you have multiple different dine in options such as Cracker Barrel, Ihop, Chick-Fil-A, Waff

Just don’t do it! I know the price seems good but go elsewhere. Seemed like a lot of peculiar characters in this place. We got to our room, I pulled back the sheets and had multiple piece of black lint like dirt and an oily kinda stain on sheet. We got a refund without too much hassle although manager checked and said she didn’t see anything. Of course not, you can’t see black pieces of whatever it was up against a white sheet. We went across the way to Candlewood Suites and got a lovely clean room. Of course it was more expensive but oh so worth it.

It was a quick stop just to lay your head and get up and get on the road but you spend most of the night trying to figure out if there's roaches in your bed or not. I killed about seven of them soon as I walked through the room and bring some air freshener you're going to need it when you walk into the rooms..
