Suburban Studios Auburn Hills - Detroit

I walked in to check in at Suburban Suites having one of those days — the kind where everything just feels heavy and overwhelming. From the moment I stepped up to the front desk, Heather immediately made a difference. Her warm smile and genuine kindness instantly put me at ease and made me feel welcomed. The check-in process was smooth and easy, but what stood out most was how sincere and caring Heather was. It didn’t feel like just another transaction — she truly made me feel like she cared about making my stay comfortable. Throughout my stay, anytime I had a question or needed help with something, Heather was always friendly, patient, and happy to assist. She consistently went out of her way to make sure everything was taken care of, and you can genuinely tell she cares about the guest

Positive: I liked the weekly rates. Negative: I didn't like there's no sidewalk to this hotel. I didn't like it didn't have working washer and dryer. I didn't like that the vending was either sold old or just a few weeks from being old. I didn't like that the microwave didn't work found drugs in room

This place has definitely taken a turn for the better since new ownership. The moment I walked in, I was greeted with warmth and good energy. The rooms were well kept and clean, and the rates were very competitive. If I could give 10 stars based on hospitality alone, I would. The sweetest staff. Will definitely be utilizing this location again, if needed.

You have rats mice or some kind of critter that was in my room the first night I stayed on Sunday, August 24, 2025. My TV cut off on its own and it was pitch black in the room. Once I woke up, whatever it was scurried under the nightstand slipping and sliding and went someplace behind the headboard!

Excellent option for moderately priced studio hotel rooms, with a mini kitchen and giant fridge. The front desk staff is attentive and polite. The location is great because it’s right off the freeway and there are multiple restaurants around. They do a good job there.
