StudioRes by Marriott Jacksonville Orange Park

This was a very different experience. We are very loyal and stay in Marriott hotels often and all over the USA and CANADA .. this was our first time staying in a residence style. It is definitely more of an apartment/dorm-room feel. The room we first were offered was absolutely disgusting and smelled like someone was smoking weed heavily inside - we entered to trash on the counters and unmade beds with towels on the floor. This was clearly a mistake and a used room. We were then given a room on the top floor - much nicer, no smell and very clean! We had a wonderful stay, all the staff we encountered were kind, helpful & hospitable!! We requested to borrow a hair dryer & a few extra towels - the front staff delivered timely & without hesitation! I will say the location is close to busy road

The hotel is very new (I heard it’s less than 3 months old), so the facilities and beds are beautiful, modern, and really comfortable. However, the footstep and chair-moving noise from the floor above is extremely loud ,so loud that it feels like the building has very thin floors or was somehow temporarily constructed. I did bring this up to the hotel staff. I’m not sure what (if anything) can be improved, but I wanted to leave this note to help future guests be aware.

Had to stay here because my house was having work done and the staff couldn’t be more helpful and friendlier. They made things much easier on us while we lived out of a hotel

I have been here a few time and loved it. They keep the Rooms spotless. Definitely a nice place to rest your head in.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Amazing Experience thus far, and it has truly exceeded my expectations! From the moment I arrived, the warm and welcoming staff made me feel right at home. Quintin and Akeama are the absolute best. The check-in process was smooth and efficient, with a refreshing welcome drink that set the tone for my stay. The room was nothing short of spectacular. Spacious, tastefully decorated, and equipped with all the modern amenities, and the bed was incredibly comfortable!!
