Staybridge Suites Flowood - NW Jackson

The only complaint that I have is there isnt an ice machine. You have a refrigerator with an ice maker in room but it takes a while to produce. I was ready for a cold drink when I got there and had to go downstairs to the front desk. The receptionist was very nice and went to the kitchen to get some for me. With that said, it is clean, comfortable, and close to everything, so it is a great place to stay

Positive: Great breakfast and we loved the social hour! Negative: The bed was a bit too firm for me, and the curtains desperately need redoing so they actually block out the blazingly bright parking lot lights.

We love to stay at Staybridge Suites when we travel. They are consistently comfortable and make for a great lodging experience. With that said this property was a bit disappointing. The room was clean but the pillows in the room were not the standard quality we have come to expect at all the Staybridge Suites. My wife likes to go to the lobby early and read while I sleep before we have our breakfast. When she got to the lobby there was no coffee made / available (again unlike the standard we have come to expect). Other lodgers (workmen) were also looking for coffee before they left for work and had to leave without their morning cup. Our family of four stayed one night at Staybridge Suites Flowood – NW Jackson (Jan 2–3, 2026). After returning from dinner, we discovered multiple flying insects in our room, including several on the ceiling. Although we removed them, our children became very anxious and woke up multiple times during the night, resulting in poor sleep for the entire family. The next morning, we found additional insects near the window and under the carpet, indicating this was not an isolated issue. We reported the problem at checkout, but no acknowledgment or assistance was offered. Due to the lack of rest and our children’s discomfort, we had to start a long drive the next morning already exhausted. The rooms were nice and clean. Very comfortable. The staff was quite pleasant and the next time I'm in town, this will definitely be my choice for lodging.
