SpringHill Suites by Marriott Jacksonville North I-95 Area

Positive: The staff! Everyone was so friendly. My check in was fast and the location of the room was perfect. Negative: The pool area, the pool area wasn’t inviting. The water looked green and there was no curb appeal, no decretive umbrella’s or cute lounge chairs.

This hotel felt a little dirty to me. The bathroom in our room had hair behind the toilet and in the shower from the last person who stayed in the room. The gym space was also unkept, with no toilets available, no mats, and dirty floors. We did enjoy the complimentary breakfast that was offered and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel was close to the airport and other things such as the zoo and many restaurants and stores. The only reason I cant rate it higher is because I felt it could definitely be cleaner.

This location is not up to Marriott business travelers specifications. Start off digital key after a long day of travel and meetings I like the convience of going straight to the room well the girl at the front desk says we don't do that we want to make sure it's you and no digital key. So from the get go customer service is compromised. A car was parked sideways in so no one could pull up and use the drive thru. The room was ok but as someone who hooks his computer to the TV well you can't because they have a cheap remote that won't let you they don't have the Marriott system. The shower has no soap and the non stick in the shower is so slippery I almost fell but I caught myself. This was a one and done not Marriott brand standards.

We stayed at the hotel from January 4th to 5th. The room was spacious and very comfortable, and we really enjoyed our stay. Breakfast is highly recommended. One small issue is that the $21 deposit is still pending on my card. I hope it can be released and refunded soon.

Honestly, it was adorable — and I almost didn’t want to wake her (though Marriott corporate might).||||In all seriousness, I get it — late-night shifts are brutal.
