SpringHill Suites by Marriott Cape Canaveral Cocoa Beach

What made our experience so great was Tina at the front desk. We had to call with a request. We were nervous with our flight and arriving, and she couldn’t have been more fantastic. She was kind, warm, welcoming, understanding and so lovely. When I met her in person, it was like I had known her for years. This establishment is so lucky to have her. I’ve worked in hospitality for a very long time and she goes above and beyond and makes the guest feel so special

Great experience staying here before our cruise out of Port Canaveral. We mentioned that our kids love seeing the cruise ships, and the hotel went out of their way to give us a room with a view of the port and ship we were about to go on. Such a small gesture but it meant a lot to us, little things like this is what has kept me loyal to Marriott brands.

Not a great experience here. Hotel common areas were not very clean. The staff was slow, unhelpful and unwelcoming. We are here for a cruise and had to ask about the shuttle twice before the front desk associate booked us. Then he assumed our cruise ship and the shuttle was set to take us to the entirely wrong cruise line. Had to get that fixed, but meanwhile he asked us 3 times if we were parking a car there. Grabbed drinks from the downstairs market, and they were all frozen solid. Get up to our room and it’s fine, but each bed only has 3 pillows. The trundle bed had no bedding or pillows, plus it had gross food crumbs all over it. We tucked it back and just slept on the couch instead. When we went down to ask for bedding, we were told they had no extra pillows but that there was one pil

Positive: Really cool room, bed comfortable Negative: Water pressure was really low, light on side of bed flickered when on- very annoying. Complementary coffee in lobby was lukewarm and gross.

Recommend staying at the SpringHills Suites if you're planning to cruise out of Port Canaveral. The hotel is clean, rooms were spacious and staff were friendly. The downside is the long wait to get a room, even after checking in early via the app and using mobile app due to the cruise crowd. Also, there's a fee to use the shuttle to get to the port. This may just be the norm for the hotels in the area but would definitely check out others, especially if you're going as a large group, its $10 per person one way. Overall enjoyed our stay. Definitely one of the cleanest SpringHills (vs the one near MCO).
