SpringHill Suites by Marriott Baltimore BWI Airport

February 24 2026 I had the worst experience ever at a Springhill suites. My Fiancé and I had a six hour layover and we need a place to rest so we booked a room here But it was the worst experience ever. Yes, it is seven minutes away from the airport. Yes, there are food places nearby and that’s mainly the reason I picked this place. When I arrived the person at the desk Kyle Was nice at first and then messed up our reservation took forever to get us a room and I was already having the worst migraine but in the middle of helping us took a 30 minute phone call. I get being busy But there was two people there and they couldn’t handle two customers. That wasn’t even the worst part after we finally got the room. Positive: Location Negative: When we pulled up 3 police cars were there arresting folks, lobby smelled like weed. Asked lady what was going on and she said ‘absolutely nothing’.…meanwhile police were escorting screening women outside in handcuffs.

The Springhill Suites by Marriott BWI Airport is a very nice and accommodating property. What I greatly appreciate about this Springhill Suites is the hospitality and the small details that made my stay a step above compared to other Springhill Suites and other Marriott properties I stayed at. GREAT points about this hotel that should be commended: Acknowledgement of Elite Benefits and guaranteed late checkout: I really appreciated how 4pm late checkout was just offered to me because the front desk saw my Titanium Elite status at check-in. I usually have to request it, but being offered definitely made me feel valued for my loyalty. I didn't get the names of all the staff that worked here, but Brandon at the front desk who checked me in was the best! I appreciated his knowledge and atten

This place was the worst Marriott hotel that I have stayed at. The lobby smelled like stale smoke. The hallways were narrow and dingy. The room itself was worn and old. The floor didn't look like it had been vacuumed, the couch was very worn, and the bed wasn't comfortable. The strangest part was the bathroom. The toilet was so close to the tub, you had to have the shower curtain open, in order to sit on the toilet without the curtain in your lap. I didn't touch the breakfast. Not with my experience in the hotel. I didn't want to risk getting food poisoning.

After trying Marriott's new concepts Aloft, CitizenM aiming for GenZers, it was nice to settle in at an old tried and true, SpringHill Suites. Good size room, comfy couch, desk space, microwave, fridge, 2 bottles of water waiting for me in the room. Quick and efficient front desk, and free parking and airport shuttle shuttle. Oh, and even plastic silverware for when your delivery restaurant forgets it. (Thanks #Quickway Hibachi)
