I traveled from overseas to Jacksonville, FL to go through radiation for breast cancer. My travel was on government orders (this means the cost is reasonable)so really did not have another option than this hotel. I would like to start by saying the room was decent, the bed was great and the insulation was outstanding as I did not hear much from others in the hotel. Also, the laundry was free which was great as I washed my sheets and towels. My stay was 45 days. After 3 weeks, I stopped by the front desk to ask for more toilet paper and informed the gentleman that no one had been by to clean my room. He seemed concerned and stated they should be cleaning the rooms every 12 - 14 days. I replied that was fine however it had been 3 weeks. He told me he would set this up for the follow

It was a nice surprise when we arrived and saw our room definitely recommend has a kitchenette full size fridge dishes forks plates etc you would need to bring your own dish detergent but they also have a dish washer

We returned here for another trip to Mayo clinic just about 1 month later. The Mayo clinic rate went up and not sure this is a good value anymore? We were pretty happy for the most part on 1st visit and overlooked some issues because they were renovating...however the renovations seem more on the exterior. The rooms are still dated and the floor lamps in both rooms had some sort of wear on them...the lampshades on all lamps were dingey and cracked. Our return room wreaked of cigarette smoke which surprised me as they clearly state when you register there is quite a large fee to clean a room smoked in.
