SoHo Inn & Suites Jacksonville North

To be clear, this is a motel. You get what you pay for yes; I dont need a nice room w/ amenities HOWEVER, at the very least want somewhere CLEAN. Do not waste your money. It was disgusting. Smelled really bad of smoke, crumbs on the floor, idek what was on the counter & walls (sticky stuff & hair). I litterally had to pay last minute for a different hotel.

Vary disappointing. Room filthy. Neighborhood extremely sketchy. Staff is friendly for sure ( they should be when taking hard earned money from their guests). Don't even think of using the vending machines on premises ( you are guaranteed to lose your money). I was told the vending machines are run by a third party and there was nothing.They could do to help me with a refund or even give me the sodas I paid for. The vending machines are cashless and that's sketchy, since you have to use a debit card. This place is a violation against humanity. Broken fire escape lighting. I'm sure a health inspector and building code inspector would shut this place down if they weren't paid off

Me my husband and my inlaws stayed here for 1 night the end of Nov. When checking in we were given 2 towels for 4 of us and told it would be a $10 charge for any additional towels so if you are planning to stay here bring more of your own although we also had to go buy a shower curtain to even be able to take a shower. There was a broken mini fridge in the room leaking water a microwave on the ground as well. They had to come change the mini fridge as when we came back from dinner the floor was covered in water. The lights outside at night make it hard to sleep even with the curtains closed it looks like its noon outside on a summer day extremely bright and seeping in around the curtains. The room overall was dirty and grimly. There was dead bugs in the room. Mold or mildew under the beds

These are what the rooms look like. And I was informed upon check in that half the rooms have tvs that don't work. The room smelled of mildew and when I started taking pictures and told the check in guy I would be making a review, he said I needed to leave and stop taking pictures. He then proceeded to tell me I couldn't get a refund or transfer reservations and because of all this, I am sleeping in my car tonight. Whatever you do.... STAY AWAY

Room [#erq] Im currently in is trouble the electric goes out and in the manager rarely be on post but fairly clean room and the vending seems to be finessing (the buttons broke and the machine will steal your money
