Sleep Inn & Suites Palatka North

Had an awesome stay for 3 days/2 nights 2 weeks ago at The Palatka North Sleep Inn and Suites. The entire Staff was extremely friendly, outgoing and helpful. The room was perfect size with walk inn shower with handrails. The TV was equipped with cable channels and a Huge King Size bed with extra padding, very, very comfortable and relaxing. The included Breakfast was a nice touch. I will definitely stay and book reservations with them again in the future. Check in and check out was a piece of cake, I highly suggest a stay. We just stayed at the Palatka Sleep Inn & Suites again this time twice as long and our stay was just as awesome as the original stay couple of months ago. I reserved a King Suite a week in advance when availability showed multiple available. When I arrived, there wasn't one available. The standard King room was clean and the bed comfortable, fairly quiet. I was happy to have a first floor room with direct view of my vehicle. I was too exhausted to make it to the breakfast, and it would have been nice to find a grab-n-go item there an hour later. I'd stay there again.

Positive: Close to where I needed to be Negative: It was filthy and the utilities were falling apart. Rusty light fixtures, oxidized faucet and shower head, dirty lamp shades, windows had fog in between the panes of glass.

Room 205 smelled like wet dog and cigarette smoke. Couch was dirty and smelly, like the window covers. Lamp shade dirty and moldy. There was a splash of blood near the hair dryer. No shampoo in the shower dispenser only conditioner. Remote was not working right, reported, and changed the same day. Sadly, is the hotel location is the best. Hope the parent company remodel it soon.

The women who checked me in was amazing as always . The cleaning crew was also amazing . I didn’t like that my room had roaches and I tried calling the front desk and they kept acting like they got a attitude the night crew and when i went to check out I didn’t like how the lady who checked me out act like she had a attitude.. it’s always the new people who I have problems with !!
