Hampton Inn Palatka

Staff was polite and professional and the rooms were clean. Hallways smelled musty and moldy. I supposedly got the last room they had which was a suite. $267.00. a bit much to pay for a man who just needs a good night's sleep. I don't care about the amenities such as free breakfast since I get out before they start serving. The room itself had no closet, no dirty laundry bag and the TV was on a desk that was adjacent to the bed, So you couldn't see it from the bed. No big deal just needed sleep. Never could figure out how to turn on the lights in the room itself, just the kitchenette area and bathroom. ADA accessible which is fine but the water could have been a lot hotter. Positive: The location and the bed was comfortable. The customer service was very friendly and helpful. Negative: The room doesn?t have a microwave. Breakfast could have been better, but it was still good.

We were in the area attending a wedding and needed a place to stay for the night. We booked the Hampton. We were traveling for a while. The normal check in is 3:00 and our wedding was at 4:00. Upon calling we spoke with Marie. She was extremely pleasant and was able to get us an early check in and called us back to let us know. We crossed paths again with Marie a couple more times and as she couldn’t have been nicer. It’s great to come in contact with someone so pleasant. The overall hotel was great. Clean, neat, no noise and spacious. Thank you.

This place has a weird vibe. I booked on my Hilton Honors app for New Years Eve. At 2:00pm I called and asked for an early check in and they said sure. The digital key was not sent. Got there at 3:00pm and they asked for my ID and credit card( it was in the system). Asked why the digital key wasn’t working and they didn’t know. Then they gave me a different room than I had reserved online. I asked why and they didn’t know. I asked if the room is occupied and they said yes. I said ya, but I reserved on the app. Is this perhaps connected the digital key issue? Now the story changes and they said the room was under repair. Very weird. So she gives my two bottles of water and says enjoy the stay. I get to the room and it’s a newly refurbished room with a TV on stands and not a turning b

Upon checking in they never acknowledged my Hilton Honor Status or as a Hilton Honors Member. Seemed like a lot of training going on a the front desk so some slow service. The rooms were okay....to say the least. The shower pressure / shower head was awful. The countertop in the vanity was missing a drawer but the drawer slide was still present. The pillows were terrible. No where on their website did they state the hotel was going through renovations during your stay. Our hallway was a construction zone. Breakfast was terrible. Guests hanging out in the lobby at 4:30am drinking beer while hanging with the front desk staff. Very disappointed being an Hilton Honors Member. When departing never being thanked for our stay.
