Rodman Campground

This is one of the best campgrounds that we have been in for some time. Everything was perfect. The campsites were clean. The restrooms and shower must have been cleaned several times a day for I never found them dirty. Dumpster nearby and two dump stations on the way out. Also, there is a separate section for primitive camping. Think about camping in the sites that face the canal. Beautiful viewing.

Very nice people very helpful, love the way they take care of the campground. Showers are always cleaned. On a cold night, the hot water will warm you up. Bathrooms are clean. Beautiful views, quiet camping , checking up on area and patrons is really nice. They have a warning to watch for gators, thank goodness I have not seen one. Great for me.

This was our first visit to Rodman. While we have stayed at various Florida State parks so far, Rodman is by far our favorite. The facilities are very good and clean. Our site, 7, was very large and plenty of space between the sites. Unfortunately we do not live close to it but we will be visiting again. Also, special shout out to park ranger Martha who made sure our stay there was great! We stayed 3 nights and wish we could have stayed longer.

For both our troop and pack family it worked out great. We had to jump through some hoops with payment but it wasn't our fault. Unfortunately, this campground must be strict so no one ruins their grounds. Fishing was good and we had plenty of space and tent space. Location for us is only an hour away. So it was very convenient. I hope our troop comes back.

Rodman Campground is one of those rare spots where you pull in, look around, and immediately think, “Yep… this is exactly what camping should feel like.” The campsites are huge, especially the primitive ones. You get plenty of space between you and the next group, which makes it peaceful, quiet, and perfect for anyone who actually wants to enjoy the outdoors instead of listening to someone else’s weekend playlist. The facilities are very clean and well-kept, which honestly surprised me given how many people pass through here. Bathrooms, showers, grounds — everything is taken care of with real pride.
