Budget Inn

We rented two rooms, one king and one with two twins. Instead of picking out the few bad things I will instead talk about the good. Rooms are large, beds are clean, TV has several premium channels such as HBO and STARS. WiFi works well enough, Laundry facility has three washers and two dryers which also worked well. Vending machine for cold drinks, owners very friendly, Fridge/Microwave in each room, walking distance to several stores and fast food places, pet friendly, and finally it is in central Palatka with easy access to most of town. As a former Motel owner myself, I can tell they try hard to work with what they have...however a few small changes should be considered. Price is fair at $60 per night, but this should be the maximum amount charged for what is currently offered. Acceptin

Basic and clean. The bathrooms are a bit too small for my liking tho. But the beds are memory foam and very comfortable. The color schemes we're pastel when I was there, but they are having some remodeling done so that may have changed. Personnel are polite and efficient also.

The ladys where very nice, and the rooms were clean, I'm sorry to give a 1 star, but they had a very bad roach infestation. We tried staying there, but it was too much to handle. The roaches were everywhere. The week we stayed there i must have killed about 20 of them, and we found 5 in my car after the first night there.

I give this place a negative review. This hotel is the nastiest place I've ever been to. Crack under door for anything to crawl in. The recepticals don't work, the light in the bathroom don't work, they don't come and do room service after many complaints of these issues they still refuse to fix it to. Drug deals are being made constantly in front of the hotel and the staff is aware of this. The washer and dryer don't work and are very nasty. Staff is very rude and lazy, they don't want to do anything. Nothing ever gets wiped down. Very unsanitary rooms, moldy, stinks, nasty, dirty. Would not recommend to anyone to ever stay at this hotel. Don't let the pictures fool you.! They make it look nice, but it's a awful.

Very unhappy with this hotel, it takes twenty minutes to get hot water,hot water last five minutes untill it gets cold, you get no cleaning service no clean towels, asked several times for clean towels we never revived any after we asked was told that they were out every time I went to ask for them, we had to go buy towels to get clean towels had buy toilet paper to replace what we used no trash can in room had to find one to put in room. Booked an king sized room and was given two twin size beds for the same price as an king size room, promised to be moved into an king size room the next day , they gave it to somebody else. The rooms don't look like they have been updated since the hotel was built. Even the carpet and beds are in bad shape.
