Sleep Inn & Suites Conference Center Eau Claire North

First, housekeeping was superb! Room was nicely kept and well stocked. Breakfast was ok but well stocked (no potatoes like other Choice locations). However, the shower had a high squeal when the hot water was increased (Something with the water heater?). No automatic door at entrance - first in years that we've experienced. What really disgusted us was the ten dollar fee at check-in for offsite health club, breakfast, and other amenities. It was paid with cash (questionable) and was not an option. Include it in the room cost like a recent visit we had to the Schofield area (and that health club was a Planet Fitness!). The location of this facility is convenient but remote, and I would hesitate to stay again because of the surprise fees at check-in.

Very clean hotel and great rooms! Everytime we passed the staff they were very kind and always asked if we needed anything. I have to shout out Sarah at the front desk, she was beyond amazing! We extended our stay and she was very accommodating moved rooms around so we could stay in the same room. She was so sweet and so polite.

It is evident that the level of communication and hospitality expected in a family-friendly hotel was not present during our stay, particularly with the daytime staff. Sarah S. at the front desk demonstrated inappropriate and unprofessional communication, and it was clear she did not prioritize creating a welcoming environment for families. Both she and the General Manager stated that all guests received explicit instructions regarding hotel rules; however, no such information was provided to me, and several other guests confirmed the same. It was also communicated to us that each guest had signed a document acknowledging these rules. I signed no such document, nor was one ever presented to me. A spacious and comfortable stay. This Sleep Inn Suites & Conference Center is the full package deal, including a lounge area open till 2am on the weekends and a 24/7 travel and gas station onsite.|A short drive into downtown Eau Claire, this location is convenient and also totally quiet and relaxed. Everything you need for a comfortable stop on your trip. I travel regularly for work, and arriving at a hotel and not having to drive around more for food, drinks or snacks makes all the difference to me.|The breakfast is great. The $77 room came with $85 in fees, which is a bit absurd. The morning clerk then told me I was supposed to be charged MORE than that, but conveniently didn’t ask me how our stay was. We were constantly woken up by the loud semis traversing the freeways at all hours of the night. I do not recommend.
