Econo Lodge Inn & Suites Eau Claire South

The room was very clean and I felt safe. Located right near everything we were looking at doing. It is what you should anticipate for a 2 star hotel as far as amenities on site - not a lot. It was a place to sleep and a simple breakfast. The beds were comfortable enough in a basic room. Perfect for an overnight - just traveling through type of thing. Two thumbs up to cleaning and front desk staff.

I booked this hotel last-minute after some unexpected travel changes and this hotel was such a pleasant surprise. Fantastic value for the price and a very comfortable stay. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and have vaulted ceilings. Friendly service and good location on a quiet side street. Breakfast choices are limited, but on-par with this tier of hotel. ||Overall, you can tell the owners and staff care about this property and the guest experience.||I never thought I’d say this of an Econo Lodge, but I’d gladly return to this hotel during a future visit to Eau Claire.

Both of the gentlemen that we saw at the front desk were amazing! Super nice and respectful! My husband dropped a couple credit cards out in the main lobby unknowingly and front desk brought it straight to the room! Rooms were incredibly clean and stocked. We wouldn’t hesitate staying here again!

Everything about this hotel was perfect. The room was immaculately clean, the staff were friendly and professional, the motel was in a quiet area away from the busy streets. It looked like the entire exterior had been recently renovated, and the interior was fine to except for a few minor dings I was pleased that they had Activa yogurt for breakfast. I don’t eat the carb heavy stuff that is typically offered, but they had good coffee and enough options to satisfy me. If all of the choice hotels were up to the same standard, I would be one very, very happy traveler! Congratulations to the proprietor!

I like staying here. It is very clean and it is comfortable. However, these were breakfast options: pancakes from machine, pre-sweetened packaged oatmeal, prepackaged pastry, bread and English muffin, Yoplait yogurts, red apples. Real OJ and coffee present. I really want to book again in early November, but a friend is coming and he is diabetic. There isn't even dry cereal here as an option. Most is very sugary. Unuckily, most breakfast restaurants in Eau Claire open at 7:00 a.m. (many closed on Monday) and that leaves us little chance of driving someplace for breakfast before our meeting. So that might force us to book at a different hotel. Rm 137. Clean. Quiet. Corded phone works poorly. Really wish refrigerator had the little freezer- due to my outdoor travels, this really affects where
