GrandStay Residential Suites Hotel - Eau Claire

2 day stay. Our check in was less memorable. The guy behind the desk didn’t say bit 2 words. Not a welcome, the only thing he said was 2nd floor. Not direction to the elevator. The employee acted as if we were a bother checking in. Room was adequate, clean, the decor is a bit dated the room offers full size refrigerator and cook top dishwasher. With stocked silverware and plates cups. Dish washing soap. Premium soaps in the bathrooms. It’s a nice room with amenities if you are using as an extended stay. Let’s get to the breakfast, if your are expecting a great Continental breakfast you will be disappointed . Our fist day offered scrambled eggs, sausage links. Variety of cereals, juices, coffees, waffle, iron, hard-boiled egg, yogurt, the standard. It was alright. The second day was saus

Positive: The two bedroom suite option was perfect for our group. Negative: The jets for the spa were not working. When we checked in -- Our shower curtain rod was leaning down and you could not close the curtain very well - resulting in water on the floor. Rod was coming out of the wall at the ends, should be fixed -fyi.

Clean, well appointed room. Hotel was very quiet and stay was pleasant. Check in and out was simple and without issue. Was one of the best hotel stays I have had lately. One big plus is the hotel rooms and hallways don't smell like weed. This has been an issue in other hotels I have stayed at no matter how fancy they are. Was refreshing.

I have stayed at this Grandstay location several times in the past year. The first couple of stays were good, despite the pool & hot tub being closed for the duration of my stay. |Our recent stay was less than desirable. The room was good, with the exception of carpets that have not been thoroughly vacuumed and all the dishes were in the dishwasher. The public areas, however, were disgusting for the entire week we were there. The hallway and elevator floors were not cleaned or vacuumed at all during the week we were there. The walls and doors of the elevator were not wiped clean at all. Eating area was also quite gross with food spilled, and there is no one wiping tables down |While this has been our regular go to place, we will find a different hotel going forward

So I normally love staying at grand stay and normally stay there pretty often how ever lately I haven’t not been very happy with them. For my birthday my fiancé booked a whirl pool room through them and than later found out after they said they had one available so we booked it that they apparently didn’t so we were not able to stay. No big deal right like ok I understand that some times things get mixed up or what ever. Well how ever they gave us a voucher to make up for it for a free stay in the whirl pool room which we decided to have a date night last night after getting off work and it turns out they charged her almost a extra 100 dollars on top of the voucher which was supposed to be a free stay in there.
