Sleep Inn Jacksonville Airport

Rough time here. Got in late and headed to our room. Hallway smelled of weed and our room smelled of someones STRONG perfume or body oil. The walls are VERY thin so you can hear everything in the hall. In the morning, our bathroom had a dead German cockroach in it and then we also found a live one too. The place over all needs a refresh, the fiberglass tub was cracked in many places, dingy walls, cheap bedding. The breakfast was limited and not restocked quickly. The upside is that it is a good location and the staff are friendly. Would not stay here again though. Im not expecting great amenities or the best of the best comforts, but I am expecting a clean space at a bare minimum. Its rough bc the last few times we have stayed in a Choice Hotel, it has been very disappointing for one way

Terrible experience. We arrived exhausted only to get a room that had smelled funny; had a broken lamp that washeld together with tape! The walls had deep gouges ; the bedsheet had cigarette burn holes ; the coffee pot was dirty; a peeling toilet seat ; toilet had dark stains ; dirty bathroom floor and to top it all off… cockroaches coming up out of the bathroom sink!|The desk clerk did change our room and it was a little better.. still had roaches ; the carpet needed vacuuming and the coffee pot tray was sticky with GOD knows what because there was no coffee pods creams or sugars anywhere to be found!|If it wasnt for our senior discount it would have been $130 more or less per night ..|Will never stay there again!

How this place is rated so high I don’t know, first off ROACHES all over, nothing more unsettling then having a bunch of bugs in my room, if I wanted that I’d go camping in the city. To be honest probably be better to do that because it would be free. Secondly, it’s dirty and stinks. Rooms are musty. Breakfast is horrible. And the hospitality from the front desk is lacking. I’ll never understand how you can say “hi how’s it going” to someone and they don’t respond, especially when you’re working at the front desk (this happened several days). The tv is almost the size of an iPad, the towels had stains and hair in them. Just a very uncomfortable stay to say the least. I would not recommend or be back. Hope I saved someone else the trouble of booking at this place.

This is not a classy hotel... For me, its okay and close to where I need to be for work... It could be a lot cleaner around the edges of the floors and walls. The elevator needs a good deep cleaning. The best part of the hotel is (not using full name for privacy) Ms K.... when I arrive to check in and Ms. C when I leave early in the morning.... These ladies are Day Makers... They make my day positive and bright. Why the 5 of 10... This is not the kind of hotel my freinds would stay at...

I stayed for a week and was only able to fully rest for one day. The guests were exceptionally loud, particularly after midnight. The front desk did not seem particularly concerned. I will definitely not be returning. DON'T CHECK IN AT THIS HOTEL IF YOU'RE LOOKING TO REST!
