Sheraton Jacksonville Hotel

We stayed at Sheraton Jacksonville Hotel during a family trip. We usually prefer hotels that offer free breakfast, which Sheraton does not, but the rate was reasonable, so we decided to book. The hotel was comfortable and overall okay, but it definitely feels dated and in need of renovations. One important thing to note: the bathroom door does not have a lock, which can be inconvenient. We paid extra for the hot buffet breakfast, which was good in terms of quality. However, while it was a step above the typical free hotel breakfast that you get at Residence Inn/ Fairfield / SpringHill, it didn’t quite feel worth the additional cost. Positive: Staff was lovely and inviting Negative: The hotel room was a bit worn. The TV was hard to hear even at the volume set at 100. Walls are thin allowing all of the noise from the hall and rooms next door.

Stayed here before and thought it was ok. Not so much this time. Started with charging for parking. This is done on the honor system. They ask you if you drove and they tell you $10 charge for parking, they did not charge last time. I asked if I needed anything for dash? Thru said no - we are on the honor system. If you tell them no you won’t be charged. The shower curtain was so short that the water goes all over the floor. I asked from desk and they were fully aware. The sink was very slow draining. The windows are so dirty you cannot see out. The ironing board cover had deep wrinkles that iron the wrinkles k to your clothes. Wanted breakfast but could not find a server. I had a great stay at the Sheraton Jacksonville Hotel. Everything was exceptionally clean, and the breakfast buffet was one of the nicest I’ve had—plenty of choices and very fresh. The staff was wonderful and made the entire experience feel welcoming. The bathroom amenities were great and added an extra touch of comfort. Parking was easy, and check-in was quick and smooth. Overall, a fantastic stay and I would definitely come back!

Who ever thought this shower design was a good idea needs to be scolded. Massive gap leading to water falling right onto the floor! Average rooms, temperamental TV cable I had to adjust myself, poorly designed and executed bathroom. Overall this hotel is below average
