Shakir Economy Motel

It’s a privately owned BLACK business!! They really go above and beyond for their customers. The staff are always pleasantly nice. The rooms are always clean! Mrs. May and her husband are the owners. Nice couple but really strict when it comes to their business, so don’t go there thinking it’s “sweet” and u can be loud, rude, or rowdy because u will be politely escorted off the premises ! I’ll stay there anytime and give them my business before I spend with these big corporations who dnt care abt their customers because at the Shakir they definitely do care abt their consumers.

We walked in and walked out. It had the dirtiest carpet, a funky smell and a door that was disintegrating. Not worth $70.

It looks like a hole in the wall but it's nice on the inside. It's decent MS Lisa is wonderful. They super clean she takes down the shower curtains and removes the bed spreads after each stay. Strick and Safe. Don't go there and think it's a 5 star but it's a 5 for the decent price and service.

I was going to give it 4 stars because I was really impressed with the room. Only 4 because I smelled pot. They say its non smoking but have an ash tray in the room. So the room has a constant smell to it. As for everything out, very clean. Sheets. Bathroom. Everything. Pretty impressive for the location. I would stay here again.

Privately owned. Very clean and quiet place! Location is great off New kings road! Water for shower stays hot and soft. Wonderful people, Wonderful place! I would definitely go back to stay again. Thank you for the very comfortable stay Shakir Motel!
