Just stayed here for 12 nights. Cynthia the host is excellent. Comfortable bed with ensuite room. Based in a quiet suburb 10 minute drive from Hilo town centre. Walk in shower and separate toilet. Excellent value for money. View of Mauna Kea observatory from my room. Off road parking available. WiFi available. Fresh made coffee in the mornings. Local supermarkets and fast food restaurants nearby. Saturdays sees a farmers market just around the corner. I will definitely be back if I return to big island Hawaii.

The guesthouse is a lovely two story and spacious home. So nice looking out the airy living area to the lush garden. Great selection for breakfast and good value for money. Very quiet location but still walking distance to shops, restaurants, mall, cinema and bus stops. Perfect if you have a hire car with plenty of parking. I was able to borrow the bike, snorkel and floatie for the gorgeous beaches nearby. Felt very welcomed, safe and well looked after - would highly recommend. I also stayed at the Shaka Shak Studios which is in downtown Hilo and walking distance to everything and even better if you don’t have a car.

OMG, The host was so nice, She provided transportation from Hilo airport to the Hotel, made breakfast and even gave me a ride to the rental car company the next day after arriving. The Home/AirBNB was very clean,with comfortable spacious bed. The location is very close to the mall,grocery stores, movie theater ect, walkable, the neighborhood is guite, well kept and friendly. I look forward to a return trip.

The place feels like home , the island lifestyle that a senior like me craves, its a Zen , lush garden and sounds of nature and birds are your background. My bed was very comfy, big spacious room Cynthia is very accommodating and very helpful with recommendations, I stayed for a week and I was rejuvenated, worth every penny spent, will recommend and will be back for sure.
