Hawaiian Ohana Home

This private accommodation was the best I experienced in all of Hawaii. The hostess, Diana, is a wonderful person. She loves to chat with her guests. After all, you are living in her house and she always has great tips to share. Each room has its own parking space, and you take your shoes off before entering the house. This means you don't bring any dirt inside and the house stays nice and clean. The shared areas, such as the kitchen and lounge on the first floor, are super clean. I also used the veranda a lot in the evenings to reflect on the day and listen to the frogs croaking. The shared bathroom for rooms 1, 2 and 3 is very clean, depending on how tidy the guests are. Towels are provided in the rooms and there is a fridge in the room for food that you want to prepare in the kitchen.

Diana is a lovely host. The location is excellent, near to everything. Well appointed apartment, very clean. 100% recommended.

The room is clean big enough and with everything you need to be comfortable. I could rest and sleep well. The service… oh! Diana was amazing and lovely with me. As a first impression could seem a woman with strong behave and rules … but she is the kindest host i ever have. She drove me to the bus stop/city center always i need as i was with no car … she took care of me giving me water, fruits and towels for my tours. Finally she recommend me the best poke place ever!!! I am very grateful to her. I was with no car so for my situation the location was not the best but still good. :) thank you Diana for everything 🙏🏻

We stayed for three nights. Very comfortable and completely enjoyed meeting Diana. We felt relaxed and at home, and conversation around the table was great. Highly recommend her place.

The Hawaiian Ohana house is a wonderful,super clean,comfortable accommodation. Diana,the host, is an amazing lady who goes above and beyond to provide her guests with a family friendly style stay. She is very attentive to details and strives to make your stay pleasant and enjoyable. The Ohana house is located in a safe quiet neighborhood and is ideal for exploring in and around Hilo. This is the best value on the Big Island and I highly recommend it.
