I am writing an updated review because of the management's initial response on TripAdvisor. To date I have not received any direct response to messages via Expedia. So no, I did not get any direct response to my message. Initial review: I am writing a review after giving the hotel a chance to respond. No response so here it is. I've stayed here a number of times. My only real complaint this time was that the jets for the warm tub advertised did not work at all. Also, the fridge seemed warm, and I wasn't sure if it was working properly. This was for the "Loft Room". If I was staying longer, I would have went to management about it, but I was just there for one night. Myself and my guest only realised the tub jets were not working later at night after 10 pm due to our activities. Calling a

Positive: It was a great location within Avalon! It was a small walking distance from all the shops, restaurants, and the beach! We had the captain?s quarters room, it was a chill spot to relax at. We didn?t use the hot tub but there was one. Great staff! Negative: A sacrifice we made due to the walking distance was our room size. It was a bit tiny but nothing too uncomfortable.

We loved this hotel!! The employees are so kind, they gave us a free upgrade when we arrived. There are beach towels you can use for free, they let you keep your bags in the front office before check in and after check out if needed. The location is great, it’s right in the middle of everything so it’s super convenient to stop at the room for a short rest or bathroom break before going right back to the shops or the beach. The rooftop was under construction when we went, but the view from there was stunning (shown in pictures) and we’d love to come back and hang out there when it’s not under construction. Due to bad weather our ferry was canceled, so they let us stay another night with a discounted rate. I’d definitely stay here again!

Location. AMAZING. Check in process was super easy. Was given a tour of our room personally by the receptionist. Pet friendly. So very nice of them to allow us to bring our fur babies. We will be back. Room was #3 the seashell. Oh wow was it nice. Bottom floor right next to a nice lounge area. Bed was super comfy. TV was ok as a streaming TV until everyone else decided to stream too and then nobody could watch anything. Good thing we weren't in room long enough to watch. Bathroom was wonderful and the amenities were quite spacious. Very comfortable and easy to get around in the morning or during the night. The jacuzzi bathtub was amazing and I got a massage on my tired feet in here that I'll never forget. If you use the shower, be careful and use the mat as the tub can be slippery. The ai
