Camp Cherry Valley

Great Boy Scout camp that I went to with my son for cub Scouts. The staff here is exceptionally helpful and cheerful. The energy they give off even affected my "cool" 9 year old. The food here is hearty and flavorful and quite filling. Definitely one of the best "camp foods" that I've had. Activities are varied and help a budding Scout on his way to self discovery and service.

It was so exciting as a Boy Scout and I loved the atmosphere and activities especially snorkeling and kayaking but we were in pack 408 so our area was super duper cold. 🥶🥶🥶🥶🥶🥶🥶🥶🥶🥶🥶🥶

It was an amazing time I can tell that the staff really wanted to be there and we were treating amazingly you showers and bathrooms were clean all the time everything was very organized and I felt like we were always being kept track of and being kept safe it was an amazing catch good for anyone.

Going to Camp Cherry Valley in 2023 was a life-changing experience for me. Already being an Eagle Scout, I had taken a break from scouting for about a year. I had barely decided to go to Camp Cherry Valley for their 100th year as well as a fun trip in the summer. Given that I didn't need anymore merit badges nor did I want to keep earning them, I had decided, with a friend, to go into their ACE program (Advanced Camping Experience). Perhaps coincidentally, several other people in Troop 66 (my troop) had also signed up, several were also Eagle Scouts. We hiked about 20 miles and kayaked 15 miles around Catalina Island over the week. It was one of the greatest journeys of my lifetime. We came back so hungry and so tired from every journey, but we're always excited for the next adventure. Eve

Been here a week and I couldn't be happier, nature at it's best! The weather is amazing, the facilities are not new but it they comfortable and cozy. Love this place!!!
