We loved our stay here. The host was very kind, friendly and accommodating. The rooms were lovely and the entire house has a great vibe. My kids loved the garden and the nearby ice cream shop. Highly recommend

The Sea Rose is a hidden gem in South Portland overlooking the spectacular views of Danforth Cove, where schooners, boats, and cruise ships glide by. I loved looking out at the water and listening to the lapping of waves — the perfect soundtrack for the evening. Quiet and undisturbed, my stay felt wonderfully restful and private—hosts were just a text away if needed, yet otherwise invisible. The accommodations were impressively roomy, with a bed so comfortable it was hard to leave in the morning. The view of the sunrise was amazing. I look forward to visiting again. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home!

The location and view was perfect!!!! Loved the neighborhood and common areas of Inn. The room itself was clean and large but very sparsely decorated. So much missed potential. Wasn’t sure I was at right place when we arrived. Google maps pins a garage for the location and there was no signage or clear address. I felt like we had broken into someone’s vacant home. Never saw or met anyone during our stay. We did only stay one night so that could be why. When we arrived I did call to confirm we were at the right place. The gentleman told us where our room was. I did ask for dinner and breakfast recommendations. We went to Old Portland (great area)and ate dinner at Luke’s Lobsters. The lobster roll was GREAT! Then for breakfast we went to a bakery near us. YUM! Portland area and the White mou

Beautiful old house. Quiet, view to die for. Fell asleep listening to the waves and the light from the light houses was visible and adds to the charm. Check in was odd, had to arrange time via text but missed it so had to check in over the phone. Never saw anyone there. FYI, in the Late summer watch out for little flies. They were intense.

A century old house full of history converted into a hotel/ guest house with an absolutely stunning view of two lighthouses and endless water in between. This view is visible from every room, even a bathroom!! It is so motivating to see the sunrise right from your bed. The host is very friendly and accommodating. The bedroom is well appointed and comfortable. Would definitely come back and recommend the place to all.
