Best Western Merry Manor Inn

Always a wonderful and easy stay. Beds are comfortable and check in is always easy. Breakfast is always plentiful with many options! The outdoor heated pool during the snow storm during our stay was the icing on the cake! Thank you!

We were very impressed! We more commonly stay at slightly more upscale accommodations, and plain "Best Western" without the "Plus" or "Premier" can be hit or miss, but this was definitely a hit. All of the hotels in Portland proper were over twice the price, so I'm glad we stayed here. The room was quite spacious, and even had a massaging chair! The sink outside the bathroom was a great plus. Everything worked well, there were ample outlets, and the internet connection was decent. Breakfast was pretty standard, typical of what one gets at any BW, Holiday Inn Express, or Hampton Inn. It was never too crowded while we were there (3 nights). Parking was easy. Positive: Liked the room layout, especially with two separate sinks. The heated pool was amazing. Breakfast was very good...thoughtfulness right down to having soft butter for the bagels & pancakes. Negative: The mattress has seen better days...my back did not feel good after a four-night stay.Generally well-maintained except for rust on metal in the ceiling immediately above the shower.

Great hotel at a fantastic location! Less than 10 minutes to the Maine Mall and Round 1 arcade. Heated pool, waterfall hot tub, comfortable beds (except the rollaway cot, it was not in the best condition, but I was grateful to have it anyway), delicious breakfast, friendly staff. We have stayed twice and will be definitely be back!

Nice property in a good location. Love the free parking and the spa. Rooms are cosy and in good condition. I really liked the staff. We stayed in October... and we had fun. The bfast place is way too small though but I know it is hard to improve this.
