Rodeway Inn & Suites Pasadena

Room was affordable and exactly what we needed. Hubby and I had a very relaxing night. The parking lot is very small but the hotel is cheap and clean. If ur looking for the Ritz this isnt it, but its a decent hotel. They require a 100 cash deposit so dont forget to get thst back.

A mattress had been used so many it was difficult to sleep on. Most places don't replace them so just gets worse. The microwave didn't work when I wanted to reheat food from a restaurant. When I told a Mgr. at checkout he couldn't have cared less. No issue for him. Overall, the room was in pretty good condition. I stayed there a few years when Choice was upgrading rooms. A Mgr. didn't seem to like my receiving fair nightly rates for the four nights stayed at the old Rodeway Inn, in Pasadena. CA. If I had not I probably wouldn't have stayed there. His attitude toward the traveler staying there could be better. I took time to provide my honest comments. I have found nothing ever changes. Positive: The room: roomy, 9' ceilings, all amenities (microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker). King-size bed + a desk + small sofa with side table. The bathroom had a complete, recent remodel with roomy walk-in shower with marble-looking floor-to-ceiling surround. Negative: Lobby was bare, empty, tiny 8' x 10' with a bullet-proof window on one wall (to check in). Likewise, upstairs halls were dark, dreary, with cheap, dark, roll linoleum floors. We were feeling like we'd made a mistake, until we saw the room, which was nice!

If I could give this hotel a -1 star I would. I booked this hotel through hotel tonight, I drove 5 hours, the weekend was a family event. When I got there there was a sign on the door that says, be back in five minutes, call this number. And left a number. I called about three times, Rang the doorbell consistently for about 10 minutes. I was there for a total of about 20 minutes in the lobby. The manager finally comes down and I said I’ve been waiting here for about 1520 minutes and they just pointed at the sign that said be back in five minutes. Then he proceeded to tell me that they don’t take credit or debit card deposits. And that it’s cash only. They had a sign up right behind him that said credit and debit card deposits are $100 I pointed at the sign and told him you guys do take cre

I travel alone ----make things easy. I am old and will stay here again. I am so glad I found. Impeccable clean room--exactly what I like and also leave that way. Felt totally safe--no reason not to. Really comfortable rooms. I fell asleep instantly. The garage is small--I have tiny car. I arrived on time, too. Charger, car wash, groceries--all immediately near. Perfect for me.
