Pasadena Rose & Crown Hotel

Stayed at the Rose and Crown Hotel and had a great experience overall. It’s not super luxurious, but excellent value for the price. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well equipped — even with USB outlets, which was really convenient. A nice bonus is the pool area, the wall around it is high enough to give you good privacy from pedestrians, which made relaxing there more enjoyable. Parking was easy and convenient, which is always a plus. Would definitely recommend this hotel if you’re looking for a comfortable, well-priced stay with solid amenities!

This was a lovely hotel in a very convenient location. We stayed one night on our way to Palm Springs and enjoyed a very comfortable and clean room with lots of storage and an amazing, hot shower. Staff was very kind and helpful and a very good breakfast was served in the morning. So nice to have an early check in at 3:00 and check out at 11:00. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

I stayed here for Cat Con (August 1st–3rd, 2025) and was very impressed with this hotel. Everything from check-in to check-out went smoothly, and I booked entirely online through Booking.com with no issues.||Cleanliness & Comfort|The rooms were spotless, well-stocked with towels, and very comfortable. The entire property felt well-maintained and safe. There was one day where the elevator area had a strong pot odor (I’m very sensitive to smells), but by the next morning it was completely gone. Whatever cleaning product they used worked perfectly.||Staff & Service|Every staff member I encountered was friendly and welcoming. Was a really great stay and within walking distance to a lively area of shops, cafes and restaurants. The staff were incredibly friendly. I would have preferred coffee in the room but there was no issue with going to the reception area.

Pros: - The check-in and checkout went smoothly - The breakfast was pretty decent, they even have a waffle maker - The rooms were clean overall (cleanliness 8/10) - Bathroom mirror had one of those around-the-edge lights (I liked it) - Wifi speed was acceptable - Free parking Cons: - Only one outlet between the beds (we had a room with 2 queen beds) - The AC was very noisy - The bed sheets and pillows could have been cleaner, I spotted 2 hair strands on it which made me think maybe they haven’t washed them? - I think the fridge wasn’t working and the fruits we placed inside it felt warm
