Best Western Pasadena Inn

We got a 2 queen beds room. It was clean and functional as expected. The continental breakfast was as expected, adequate, but not great. It got us going. The “server” was very pleasant and attentive. The staff were attentive and helpful. The parking was free but the spaces were narrow which sometimes made it harder to get into the car. The free parking is a must; we avoided another establishment that charged for parking! I would have appreciated a map of the eating establishments and summary of the type of food served. Overall, we plan to stay here again in the future as it was clean, conveniently located, and affordability priced. It met our needs.

Positive: This hotel does not have systemic problems. That only happens when everyone is doing his and her job diligently. The quiet standard in this area. Negative: The neighborhood is experiencing drifters at the moment and that leads to property damage and added cost. Soda machine is malfunctioning on account of the added security screen over the glass. Minor inconvenience.

The hotel was definitely what I expected it to be, in the sense that Google rates it as a 2 Star hotel, but the general reviews are good. Personally all I focus on review wise is the cleanliness of the room, bed comfort, noise, parking availability, and breakfast. I'm happy to report the room was clean. I entered the room and there was no smell of any kind. The surfaces weren't dusty or dirty. The same goes for the bathroom. There was plenty of towels. The room had a mini fridge but no microwave. I wasn't surprised by that since the website doesn't list a microwave as a room amenity. I did see there is a microwave in the breakfast room and where you check in. I would assume the microwave in the breakfast room is only available during the open breakfast hours so I would guess the one where

Check in was quick. We were given parking passes for the night. The rooms were clean and the room was very quiet. Good location. Breakfast the next day was pretty decent with hot foods as well as cereal. Iron, coffee pot, and fridge available in the room. What more could you ask for? Better than a few 4 star hotels I've stayed at. I would definitely stay here again.

Called to make reservation since we needed ground floor. Alexa/Alexis is who i had to deal w for this. She was down right rude couldnt wait to get me off phone. She made several mistakes on reservation from not paying attention and in hurry. I had to call back to fix them and mistakes were still there upon check in which Eva didnt fix and added another one which that finally got fixed at check out by finally a professional friendly lady. Room given had a very strong horrible odor in room I had to ask for another room even though it was just one night. Room we were given had loud banging noises from 1130pm to 1am. Walls rattled at times that's how bad it was so didnt get much sleep. Couldn't figure out cause but possibly a/c unit. Plus constant talking of ppl outside our door. Floor was dir
