Courtyard by Marriott Los Angeles Pasadena/Old Town

We came for the Rose Bowl - it was awesome - perfect location - for the parade, the game. Customer service from the front desk, to the manager, to the cleaning staff and rooms and cleanliness - great atmosphere and value. Would highly recommend for visit to Pasadena. It's in a perfect location and easy hotel. Good for family, friends, or solo.

I have to say this was an excellent experience for me. I walked passed this hotel sometimes when I lived in Pasadena and wondered if it was just a spot with a good location. Well, I really enjoyed my room, enjoyed the pool/hot tub, and everyone at the front desk was extremely accommodating and nice. As someone who tends to err on the side of complaints, the fact that I'm giving such accolades should give some indication of how excellent my experience was. Rest assured, you could do way worse in this part of town, and the price wasn't the most horrid to boot. Fin.

Positive: I liked the location of this hotel the best. Negative: They surprised me with a $35.00 per day charge for parking. The swimming pool was very murky, and the spa is closed for renovation; I feel like this should be listed. The hotel was VERY hot and muggy; very uncomfortable.

I’m currently staying at this hotel and I like it a lot. The room is very large and has a nice seating area with a sofa and ottoman table. There’s also a desk area with power and USB outlets (no usb-c though). The King size bed is comfy, there is a little fridge and coffee maker. We have a fantastic view of the mountains on floor 6 and the A/C unit is working. It just doesn’t know when the room is warm enough (it’s February and there is a little cold front). I turned it off. Staff is friendly and everything is clean. Overall, while the building is old, it doesn’t have that weird LA area smell and it seems updated and well maintained. While it’s interior is simple, it’s functional and we have everything we need. Fun thing: we can park on the 6th floor and walk into our floor from there. Pas

Breakfast here is amazing, note NOT free! Coffee ☕️ here is Starbucks, bar and restaurant on-site! I love that they have happy hr here every day except 4 Sat. Drinks & appetizers all for $7. Thank you Robert, Lexi, and the lady that has a Greek name.. For taking such a good care of us! Location is perfect! We loved the whirlpool jacuzzi and the amazing outdoor fireplace. We will be back.
