Rodeway Inn & Suites Chandler - Phoenix South I-10

Though the linens appeared clean, the room itself was filthy. There was some kind of brown substance splattered on the wall underneath the desk and I found a glucose test strip on the ground which neither myself nor my husband carry. The laminate on the floor was literally crumbling in our room and the upstairs hallway. The TV was not connected to cable and when I tried to explain the situation to the front desk they gave me batteries for the remote and said someone would be in from facilities in the morning but no one ever came to fix it. I tried the batteries just to be thorough although the remote was never the problem but obviously that didn't fix it. Roaches. Very very rundown. Floors are peeling up in the hallways and in the rooms. Walls are dirty. TV doesn't work. Room is dirty. Furniture, fridge and micro in very poor condition. Rooms are not cheap at $160 a night. I knew it would be basic but I at least expected clean and in decent repair. Also, again there are roaches. Gross. And the $150 deposit is rich considering how crappy the room and all its contents are. Front desk person was ok and efficient at least. Won't be back, tho.
