Residence Inn by Marriott Phoenix Chandler/South

We had a spacious, 2 bedroom suite. They put on a good breakfast. Pool loungers were very comfortable but unfortunately the hot tub wasn't operational. Charge for parking unfortunately. Front desk staff member was very friendly

Thank you for a great stay! The room was clean and the staff were very friendly in all areas of the hotel. My only complaint is the hanging lights in the kitchen were in odd places and one was not over the table so if you did not watch out, you would hit your head on one. Will stay here again!

We stayed at the Residence Inn in Chandler/Phoenix for an extended stay. We really enjoyed staying here. The staff and the rooms were awesome. We had a room with a water view. The pond/lake had ducks and carp and all types of birds around it. I enjoyed walking along the lake in the mornings and evenings as I had ability. Also, when the weather was nice they opened large sliding glass doors by the breakfast area which lead out to the water area and it brought the beautiful outdoor area into one continuous area with the breakfast/seating area. They had a waffle maker, oatmeal with toppings, a juice bar, yogurt, eggs, quiches, pork and turkey sausages, toast, bagels, english muffins, bacon (at times), and biscuits and gravy (at times). Have you ever had a hotel staff person literally scream at you after they got your name wrong? I have, at this place, and I will never step foot on this property again. My room in the east wing has paper thin walls, to the point of the adjacent room normal conversations sound like they are in my bed with me. More importantly there is no elevator in this wing, so either you have to use the lone elevator in another building and walk across a catwalk, or take the stairs. There is a woman with tattooed eyebrows that can't find the volume dial for her own voice and is constantly overstepping professional boundaries. We experienced a household emergency in the middle of the night and found that the Marriott Residence Inn had just opened within a mile of our home. The staff at the hotel were extremely accommodating and helpful, getting us checked in at 3am, and ensuring everything was to our liking. The room was wonderful - spacious, clean and had all the comforts we needed. It even had netflix, so it was great to be able to just hook up our account and be able to watch our regular shows and movies. The breakfast in the lobby was excellent - lots of great choices and the lobby was so clean and decorated nicely.
